Woollen Kits
Woollen Kits are the sound of packing up a car for a summer vacation, loading it up with optimism and hope, then quitting halfway through the task, retreating back indoors to the beckoning call of the comfortably worn-in couch and packing another bong. This is lazy guitar pop for the dole-scamming Generation Y-would-you's. Yet is just as enjoyable for us of the forgotten Nintendo Thumb Generation, with the mix of scrappy free-balling, glowing nonchalance and everyday day-dreaming providing us with an avenue of retreat from the mundane world of cubicles, timed smoke breaks and endless TPS reports into a warm abyss of procrastination where ambitions, dreams and The Future are just the subject matters of stoned sentences to fill the empty void between episodes of Mythbusters.
