Directors Coodie and Chike probably could have slid a few frames of Inspectah Deck rapping on a bus into this clip and nobody would have noticed. Sure, the homage to 90s New York Rap goes a touch too far at times ("dead presidents to represent me") but Joey's genuine re-blogging of life on the cold/hard streets of Brooklyn is a refreshing change from the seemingly never-ending parade of Tweet Rap Megastars that are currently crashing our Life Servers.
Mr Bada$$'s looooong-overdue 1999 mixtape is now set to drop on June 12.
