Die! Die! Die!
The pursuit. It's been a critical part of Die! Die! Die!'s approach, musically and figuratively and physically, since the very beginning. Endless laps of the planet, "just one more show", another town, shitty nightclubs, fuckwits, sweat, blood and reputation. But you can't do this forever. I think we've mentioned that before. Pounding filthy fists relentlessly into the clitoris of Life was eventually going to become a tiresome ordeal. And so here's the needed change. Still chasing something and still grabbing you by the scruff of the neck and asking you where it is. But instead of just carelessly throttling you through the window when you sheepishly shrug, it spends some time working over your ribney's and your grand kids in order to solicit the required information and/or the lat/long co-ordinates of someone else that might be able to assist.
Harmony is the title track from the group's new album, which is out now in Australia (and Everywhere). To celebrate this achievement the band will be heading across the pond next month for a few shows:
Wednesday, August 22: The Great Northern Hotel, Newcastle
Thursday, August 23: The Standard, Sydney
Friday, August 24: Yours & Owls, Wollongong
Saturday, August 25: Ding Dong Lounge, Melbourne
Thursday, August 30: the zoo, Brisbane
Friday, August 31: Elsewhere, Gold Coast
Saturday, September 1: The Spotted Cow, Toowoomba
