Tonight in the City that Sleeps Eight Hours A Day (to make sure it has ample energy to frolic amongst it's many parks and grassy areas) there are more Potentially Incredible events happening than Ever before. First and foremost, there's the FREE-as-chips Good Heavens show at the Lansdowner, with disc-jokey side bars from everyone's favourite lady-stealer, SPOD. Dwelling on the second tier we have a rare-as-good-intercourse private show from Dead China Doll, Pop Singles playing at the Brighten Up Ya Bar and local punx Hira Hira launching their debut album at Black Wire. The latter is the basis of our discussion here, with local baritone bosses, Bad Jeep, appearing on the undercard. Here's one of the few songs they've committed to tape so far, a sexually neutral croon-out about ex-lovers, pedophiles and various devilish creatures that invade our dreams as soon as we shut our peepers.
Listen to a couple more songs over on the band's Soundcloud. They're also playing fairly regularly here, there and everywhere around Sydney Town at the moment, so keep an eye on their Facebook for regular updates.
