More acts added to Laneway Festival

Fabulous Diamonds
Fabulous Diamonds. A good band.

A shitload of FRESH/exciting and NEW acts were added to the Laneway Festival line-up today.

Joining the 'main gang':

Playing Sydney only:

Playing Melbourne only:

Playing Adelaide only:

Playing Perth only:

I almost wet myself with excitement (AND because I just drunk a lot of water) over the news that The Tigers would be playing. Then I saw the fine print and the little 'Perth only' note and I was so angry I punched a whole in my monitor. Oh, and I was also a little pissed off cause I just urinated my pants. I have to sit in it for the rest of the day. Fucks.

Great to see one of our faves TALONS have been added to the Sydney leg. It's about friggin' time too. I am pretty sure they have been on the 'maybe list' for the past 17 years or so. Once more Melbourne got the tastiest additions, with the BOOM-BOOM-BOOM of My Disco, Fabulous Diamonds and Pikelet adding a few large exclamation points on the end of the already pretty loud 'YEAH'.

This fresh batch of artists join the current cast, which includes: Girl Talk, Stereolab, No Age, Jay Reatard, Four Tet, Architecture In Helsinki, The Drones, The Hold Steady, Cut Off Your Hands, Tame Imapala, El Guincho, Buraka Som Sistema (DJ/MC set), The Temper Trap, The John Steel Singers, Canyons, Pivot, Port O'Brien, Holly Throsby, Born Ruffians, Mountains In The Sky, Tim Fite, Still Flyin', Hermitude and Daedelus.
