Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg and Bone Thugs N Harmony join forces and get smoked out

Ice Cube and Snoop Dogg

What do you get when you mix together Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg and Bone Thugs N Harmony? A tall, chubby guy who stars in terrible children comedy movies and sings in a strange high pitched harmonic style? No. You get a tour. A tour that is heading our way in October and November.

The "Smoked Out Tour" will see Mr Cube and Mr Dogg team up with da boyz from Bone Thugs (they were MASSIVE in the 90's - trust us) to play FIVE large weed-laced shows around the country that we have been promised will pack mo' funk in yer trunk than is legally allowed and/or acceptable.

Wednesday, October 29: Brisbane Entertainment Centre, Brisbane
Friday, October 31: Acer Arena, Sydney
Sunday, November 2: Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne
Wednesday, November 5: Adelaide Entertainment Centre, Adelaide
Friday, November 7: Burswood Dome, Perth

If Snoop agrees to play Doggystyle from start-to-finish AND Cube only plays tracks from AmeriKKKaz Most Wanted these shows could be worth the (assumed) insane high ticket price. No word at this stage as to when tickets will be available.

Ice Cube also has a new album on the way called Raw Footage, which is the rapper's eighth full length solo release and due to be released locally on September 20 via Lench Mob/Inertia.

Death Row Records (possibly the most important hip-hop label of the 1990's) has been sold for $24 million to a company called Global Music Group Inc. Former owner, notorious bad dude Suge Knight, claims that he still owns the masters to the label's most important recordings - Snoop Doggy Dogg's Doggystyle and Dr. Dre's The Chronic - although the new owners disagree and claim the ownership of the back catalogue as the key reason they bought the label. #
