Fleet Foxes added to Falls Festival line-up

Fleet Foxes

The band that has been described as both "America's next great band" and "lovely, very fucking lovely" have just been announced as part of the festival's opening night of entertainment.

The full list of acts added for the 'special bonus night' (December 29) at Lorne:

  • Fleet Foxes
  • Augie March
  • The Cribs
  • Late Of The Pier
  • Rocket Science
  • Ash Grunwald
  • British India
  • LABJACD
  • Tinpan Orange

From this list ONLY Ash Grunwald and Tinpan Orange will double-up and also appear at the Marion Bay version of the festival. All the rest will only be seen, experienced and 'crushed on' by those attending Lorne. Tough break there Tasmanians.

These new acts join the festival's already impressive line-up which features: Franz Ferdinand, The Hives, Eli Paperboy Reed, The Cat Empire, The Kooks, The Grates, Gomez, Faker, Tegan and Sara, SoKo, Donavon Frankenreiter, Jamie Lidell, TZU, Mystery Jets, Architecture in Helsinki, Atmosphere, The Dodos, A Trak, Wolf and Cub, Liam Finn and The Drones.
